Radhika Rani - Art Showcase

Meet Radhika Rani, an engineer by training and an artist by passion. Originally from Kollam in Kerala, India, she first embraced painting in 2009, drawn by an irresistible urge to express her thoughts in color. By 2014, she had her first solo exhibition, formally marking her place in the art world.
Style and Technique
Radhika works primarily with acrylic, dry pastel, and ink—often using the impasto technique to build rich, sculptural layers on canvas. She carefully blends a limited palette of two to five colors to create a marbled, textural effect, lending each piece a vibrant, tactile presence. Her signature style fuses geometric abstraction, bold color fields, and folk-inspired motifs, resulting in striking compositions that invite viewers to explore the emotional interplay of color, shape, and texture.
Her Work
In each painting, Radhika explores the balance between structure and spontaneity, allowing her bold geometric partitions and vivid hues to interact with looser, organic forms. This interplay creates a dynamic tension that captivates the eye and sparks the imagination, reflecting her belief in art's power to communicate beyond words. Her portfolio showcases a thoughtful evolution of this style, each series pushing the boundaries of color and form while staying grounded in her unique artistic voice.
